My creative career began at TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York, where I worked as a New Business Designer. When my first son was born, our little family relocated to Spain — and so began a life shaped equally by creativity and curiosity. I spent that time freelancing as a graphic designer and illustrator, immersing myself in the local food culture, and eventually channeling it all into ShellysHumbleKitchen.com, a vegetarian food blog where I wrote, cooked, and photographed everything myself.
Over the years, across homes in Los Angeles, New York, Israel, and Spain, I kept creating. Designing, shooting, writing — always making something.
Almost a decade ago, I fell headfirst into video, and it’s been the most rewarding creative challenge yet. From developing and styling recipes to filming and editing, I’ve produced over 600 recipe videos and mini-documentaries, some entirely on my own.
My work is aesthetic and intentional. I believe deeply in the power of restraint — that the right image, the right shot, the right detail says more than a hundred elements competing for attention.
I’m always open to new collaborations and creative opportunities. Let’s make something worth watching.
